I saw a guy yesterday who I spent a lot of time with when I was younger, like in my 20s. A really cool guy. I still really like him. I liked him a lot then, but we just hadn't seen each other in about 30 years. And he was asking me about my retirement. He was like, well, what do you do? And I said, I don't do much. I just sort of hang out. And he'd say like, well, do you do this? And I'd say, yeah, I do that sometimes. He'd be like, okay, well, that's pretty busy. I'd say, well, no, I mean, I don't spend that much time doing it. And he'd say, well, yeah, but I mean, like, do you do that? And like, he so desperately needed to get convinced, I think himself, that there's no way I could be happy saying I don't do anything. And it was almost like he was defending me because he felt bad for me. It was a very sweet intent, but a surprising reaction.
